Greater Paris basin

The A19 will contribute to the reinforcement of the north Loiret balancing pole and features among the strategic projects to develop at the greater Paris basin.

The General Council will guarantee harmonious development of the region that is suited to the existing employment basin.

Less than 100 km to the south of Paris, it is part of the fourth motorway ring around the capital that relieves existing roads (Périphérique, A86 and the Francilienne) of a considerable volume of their traffic.
